Linux More Command

the more command is used to display text on terminal screen.more is a filter for paging through text one screen at a time.this is more suitable command for displaying large files.it display data screen wise then pauses with more along with the percentage of the file that will be displayed.to continue on the next screen wise data,press the spacebar.to stop viewing thefile press 'q'.

Syntax

$more [option] [file_name]

it will clear the screen before printing a file.
